Today was a slow day. I insisted on staying up until 6 in the morning so I could watch Hedwig which was rather stupid but soooo worth it. I should just buy it and love it and hold it forever. Anyway the point is I ended up waking up at 3 today and dragging myself around the house before deciding that the Law & Order Marathon would be my fate. Yes. That's right. For approximately 5 hours I watched Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay solve outlandish sex-related crimes. Then finally my mommy decided to save me and take Jamie, David and Myself to Sushi Mike's for dinner. It was yummy stuff. The family situation wasn't necessarily yummy though. David was all emo and weird about some falling out with one of his internet friends in Wisconsin so he ate his sashimi and hid in the corner. Jamie was in a weird mood too. He repeatedly said that the cure to the AIDS epidemic in Africa was to "nuke" it. His logic: they're all going to die anyway, why don't we speed up the process? What the fuck is this kid's problem? What kind of monster is being bred in our basement? Gosh. Some kids were making noise outside of the restaurant and he voted that we pay someone to run them over. This is a basketcase in the making. Everything he says is violent and gruesome and just plain weird. It was almost too much to stomach but I focused on my food and my mom and managed to keep out the rest as best I could. Oh gosh. Now I'm home!
Alex called me and was all like guess what? I have a bag of designer dress-shirts that have never been worn that my mom acquired. Do you want them? That was pretty damn exciting.
Okay so yesterday I had a great day with Alex, Emily and Ali (later on) and in our festivities our childhood was ruined. "Semi-Charmed Life" by Third Eye Blind is about a crystal Meth addiction and "Flagpole Sitta" is about masturbation. We learned this when we were singing them on my sister's karaoke machine and finally realized what all the words are about. It was soooo saddening. Those were my favorite songs in 3rd grade. Oh well. I'm also just kind of dumb when it comes to lyric interpretation. I couldn't figure out the Beatles were on drugs until 65th grade and I cried when I found out and lived in denial until the end of 6th grade.
umm...i'll go now.
Love, Michael
